AARP Innovation Labs and 1863 Ventures are hosting a pitch competition on April 21st from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.

Please apply if:

You are a Black or Brown entrepreneur who founded or co-founded the business or if you identify as  LGBTQ+, and

Your business is working to reduce wealth disparities.

Over the past 30 years the wealth and income gap has increased tremendously, yet the backbone of the U.S. economy continues to be small businesses. In collaboration with AARP Innovation Labs, 1863 Ventures is hosting Cultivate: Tackling the Wealth Gap Pitch Competition to support business ideas that foster financial resiliency. How does your business address social factors that reduce wealth and income gap disparities and increase financial resilience across generations? Business sectors can include but are not limited to, workforce solutions, banking, education, and housing

Challenge Statement: How does your business address social factors that reduce wealth and income gap disparities and increase financial resilience across generations?
